Following an appropriate assessment, our doctors can advise whether removal is suitable and discuss the most appropriate procedure based on the type, size and location of the lesion.
The procedure recommended will depend on the type of skin lesion being treated, its size, depth and location, and whether histological examination is required. Minor surgery is generally carried out under local anaesthetic in our purpose-built surgical suite.
Depending on your assessment, treatment may involve an appropriate lesion-removal technique or full surgical excision with stitches. Where clinically required, removed tissue can be sent for private histology laboratory testing, with any associated laboratory fees discussed before treatment.
