ClearLift is a colourblind, accoustic laser so can be used on all skin types. However, prior to treatment a consultation and a test patch is required at least 20 mins before your first treatment (darker skin will require up to 1 hour between patch test and treatment).

Please note, if you are having another type of laser treatment in conjunction with this treatment, you may have to wait 48 hours following the patch test, as this is a requirement for most laser treatments.

Each individual patient’s needs will be different. Most people will need at least 3–6 treatments in total. Treatments should be carried out once every 2 weeks, but this will be discussed at your consultation.

This Fractional Laser delivers photo acoustic shockwaves to the target area in an array of high-precision micro beams. These micro beams create narrow, deep columns of tissue coagulation that penetrate well below the epidermis and into the dermis, while sparing the tissue surrounding the columns from damage. The coagulated tissue within the columns initiates a natural healing process that accelerates the formation of new, healthy tissue.

The result is reduced signs of ageing such as lines, wrinkles, pigmentation and uneven tone; in part, due to a significant boost in collagen within the skin.

The majority of people will see improvements immediately after a treatment, but some may need two or three treatments before they can appreciate real results. The skin itself will be better after even one treatment and collagen levels will be higher (although it may take longer for visible results).

No. This is described as a “virtually painless” treatment and most patients report no pain but more a sensation of warmth on the skin. Occasionally this sensation may be heightened in more sensitive individuals, but this is definitely one of our most tolerable and patient-friendly anti-ageing treatments. You may hear a loud snapping noise at times, but this is totally painless and without consequence.
